Traditional Iftar Program from Akon The iftar program, held on March 18, 2025, took place with wide participation from the business and civil society world. Istanbul, March 18, 2025 - Akon held its traditional iftar program, which it organizes every year on the occasion of Ramadan, with intense participation this year as well. The event, held on the evening of Tuesday, March 18, attracted attention with both its spiritual atmosphere and participant profile. In addition to Akon employees, federation presidents, association presidents, public institution managers, political party managers and names from the business world attended the program. In the program, which started with the recitation of the Holy Quran, Akon Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Yasin ULUHAN, made a speech and stated that the month of Ramadan strengthens the feelings of unity and solidarity. The hymn group and whirling dervishes, who took the stage before the iftar, offered a spiritual atmosphere to the participants with Sufi music and sema show. The guests broke their fast and had their iftar after the adhan was recited. Akon officials stated that the traditional iftar program will continue in the coming years and will be maintained as an important tradition for social solidarity.
