AKON Türkiye - Social Innovation

“AKON Innovation Management” was established. As the European Confederation of Science Education, Health and Culture (AKON), we successfully held our Board of Directors Meeting at our Headquarters under the moderation of our Chairman, Mr. Yasin Uluhan. At the meeting, evaluation of the work carried out and strategic steps for the next period were discussed. One of the most striking topics of the meeting was the official establishment of AKON Innovation Management. This new unit aims to make collaborations between NGOs, the private sector and the public more systematic and productive; It was structured to support innovative ideas, accelerate project development processes and produce technology-oriented solutions. Chairman Mr. Yasin Uluhan said the following in his speech at the meeting: "Today, we not only held a management meeting, but also took a very important step for the future of AKON. Innovation Management is not just a unit; it is the name of change, transformation and visionary approach. Thanks to this structure, we will make more effective contributions to both non-governmental organizations and the business world." Also at the meeting; Social responsibility planned for the new period projects, national and international collaborations, youth and entrepreneurship programs, digitalization processes and local development projects were discussed in detail. The names that will take part in the formation of AKON Innovation Management were also determined and the first road map was drawn. Thanks to this new structure, it is aimed to gather ideas from different sectors in a common pot and transform them into social benefit. Our management meeting was completed with mutual exchange of views, strong synergy and high motivation for the future. In the new period, we continue our way with much more integrated, solution-oriented and sustainable projects with NGOs, the business world and the public.
