AKON Chairman, Mr. Yasin Uluhan, visited the Mayor, Mr. Abdülkadir Ateş, in his office in Başyayla, a district of Karaman that attracts attention with its calm and nature. The visit took place in a friendly environment where mutual respect and cooperation wishes were shared between the two parties. During the visit, the economic, social and cultural dynamics of Başyayla district were discussed. While Mayor Uluhan talked about AKON's efforts for regional development, Mayor Ateş gave information about the projects carried out in the district and the opportunities and challenges encountered as a local government. Başyayla is known as a district that stands out with its natural beauties and is especially important in terms of plateau tourism. During the visit, the importance of cooperation opportunities between public institutions, civil society and local governments in order to better evaluate the potential of the district was emphasized. Mayor Mr. Abdülkadir Ateş said, "Mr. Uluhan's kind visit gave us strength. We are always ready to work together for the development of Başyayla," while Chairman Uluhan said, "The role of local governments in regional development is very important. We are ready to do our part for the development of our distinguished districts such as Başyayla." He said.
