Yasin Uluhan, Chairman of the European Confederation of Science, Education, Health and Culture (AKON), visited the Governor of Karaman, Mr. Mehmet Fatih Çiçekli, in his office. Mayor Uluhan, our fellow countryman from Karaman, who came to Karaman on the occasion of the Turkish Language Day events and resides in Istanbul, gave information about the projects carried out by AKON and the "Akon Innovation Center" during the visit. During the visit, the working areas of the Akon Innovation Center, the opportunities it offers to young people and entrepreneurs, collaborations in Europe and potential application areas in Türkiye were shared with Governor Çiçekli. Consultations were held to ensure that the activities carried out by AKON in the fields of science, technology, education and culture would be reciprocated in Karaman. Mayor Uluhan thanked our Governor for his diligent work in promoting Karaman and protecting its cultural heritage within the scope of the Turkish Language Festival events and presented a plaque. "We regard everyone who embraces the values ​​of Karaman and offers a vision for the future as our crowning glory," said Uluhan, and stated that, as AKON, they wish to produce sustainable projects with Karaman. The visit was considered an important step towards laying the foundations of projects and collaborations that will activate the local potential in Karaman in the coming period.
