AKON Türkiye - Social Innovation

Akon Confederation held an important meeting with the Istanbul Chamber of Architects in order to develop strategic collaborations that will be effective on a global scale. The meeting was attended by Akon Chairman, Akon Science, Education and Culture Federation representatives and Chamber of Architects official Ahmet Erkan. At the meeting, comprehensive information was shared about the cultural, artistic and innovative projects carried out at Akon Innovation Center. Evaluations were made to integrate architect artists into the innovation center, to organize joint exhibitions and events with architect collaborations, and to ensure solidarity in urban design and cultural heritage projects. Akon Chairman said, "We aim to ensure the participation of architects in projects in Europe and many countries of the world through our international technology infrastructure platform within our innovation technology infrastructure." He emphasized that this vision will increase Turkey's international visibility in the field of architecture and design. While the parties emphasized the importance of cooperation in cultural and social projects to be carried out for the public benefit, it was reported that negotiations will continue to strengthen cooperation. This strategic step is expected to contribute to Turkey gaining a stronger position in the global arena in the fields of innovative architecture, culture and innovation.
