Sinan İz, who has been working as an academician and instructor at various state and foundation universities and colleges since 2006; He continues his career as a lecturer and advisory board member at Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Textiles and Bahçeşehir University, Faculty of Architecture and Design, Department of Textile and Fashion Design. At the same time, he works as a training moderator and senior corporate trainer within the BAU Continuing Education Center BAUSEM / BauPro.

In addition to his academic and corporate training duties; He provides product and sustainable retail management consultancy in the fields of textile, ready-made clothing and FMCG retail.

He was born in Istanbul in 1971. He completed his secondary and high school education at Yeşilköy 50. Yıl High School and his undergraduate education at Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Textiles.

In his 36-year professional career; He has held design, brand-product and R&D management positions in the fields of textile and luxury leather apparel / ready-made clothing production and restaurant-food / FMCG retail, as well as creative, brand and R&D, product management and international retail director positions in leading companies in the sector. It has exported from UK-based businesses to many boutique businesses including Türkiye and Michelin star restaurants to European foundations; He has also provided special design and production, corporate clothing, accessories and operational process management consultancy to heavy industry companies.

He served as the academic director of IFA Paris - Istanbul Campus in 2022-2023.

He carries out sectoral suitability and applicability evaluations of projects developed in the fields of industrial product management, sustainable retail, strategic brand positioning and talent management. He takes part in the project monitoring, strategic suitability approval and audit processes in the Scientific Board of our innovation center.
