Assoc. Dr. Hüseyin Özdemir continues his academic and administrative duties at Istanbul Technical University. His research areas focus on air pollution and control and climate change. Özdemir, who completed his doctoral education at Marmara University Environmental Engineering program, received his master's degree at Istanbul University and his undergraduate education at Marmara University Environmental Engineering Department. He completed his post-doctoral studies at Aarhus University. During his academic career, he worked as a faculty member, researcher and team leader at Istanbul Technical University, Bahçeşehir University and international projects. He served as a team leader in the European Union-supported project "Improving Air Quality in Cities in Turkey and Raising Public Awareness". He works as a lecturer at the Istanbul Technical University Eurasian Earth Sciences Institute, Department of Climate and Marine Sciences, and also serves as the Deputy Coordinator of the Projects and Commercialization Management Office of the Dean of Research and the International Strategies Office. European Geosciences Union (EGU), Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry. Assoc. Prof. (SETAC) and a member of the Chamber of Environmental Engineers. Dr. Hüseyin Özdemir continues his academic studies in the field of environment and climate at national and international levels. Assoc. Prof. serves on the Scientific Board of our innovation center. Dr. Hüseyin Özdemir; It carries out scientific, technical and practical suitability evaluations of projects developed in the fields of air pollution, climate change and environmental sustainability. He takes part in monitoring, compliance approval and audit processes in climate and environment focused projects.
