Prof. Dr. Ahmet Koçak is an academician specialized in New Turkish Literature and is known for his studies on literary history and Turkish novel. He completed his undergraduate education at Marmara University Atatürk Faculty of Education and completed his master's degree at the same university with his thesis on "Şehbenderzade Filibeli Ahmed Hilmi". He completed his doctorate education at Kocaeli University with his work on "Europe in the 19th Century Turkish Novel". Koçak continues his academic career at Istanbul Medeniyet University, Faculty of Letters, Department of Turkish Language and Literature, where he also serves as the head of the department. He previously served as the Director of IMU TÖMER. His areas of expertise include New Turkish Literature, Turkish novel, literary theories and 19th and 20th century Turkish literature. He carries out academic studies in these fields, especially on the development of the Turkish novel, its modernization process and literary thought structure. Dr. Ahmet Koçak's important works include "Europe in Turkish Novel" and "Night and Sea Poet Tahsin Nahit". He has also conducted research on Mehmet Akif Ersoy's literary circle. In addition to his academic duties, Koçak is a Member of the High Advisory Board of the Turkish Language and Literature Association, and is also the editor of the peer-reviewed journal "Language and Literature Research". Prof. Dr. Ahmet Koçak; He takes an active role in the scientific evaluation processes of academic studies carried out in the fields of Turkish literature, novel history and literary thought, and plays an active role in project monitoring, academic suitability approval and audit processes in the Scientific Board of our innovation center.
