AKON Türkiye - Social Innovation

Akon Confederation held its first meeting at Akon Innovation Center to plan the evaluation and monitoring of technology, culture, art and product R&D projects with the Science Board within the innovation center. The meeting was attended by Akon Confederation Chairman Yasin Uluhan, Science Board members Prof. Dr. Süleyman Doğan, Prof. Dr. Sefa Bulut, Assoc. Dr. Orhan Albayrak, Assoc. Dr. Mahinur Gülca, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Toros, Prof. Dr. M. Niyazi Eruslu, Expert. Psk. Büşra Yurtsever, Literary Writer Hilmi Aydın and our project coordinator Hasan Bayram attended. At the meeting, it was planned in detail at what stages and with what methods the projects carried out by the Confederation unit would be evaluated, and how their scientific and technical suitability would be monitored. Scientific Board members determined the road maps by taking into account the innovation potential, sectoral contributions and applicability criteria of each project. Akon Innovation Center aims to transform innovative ideas into realistic and applicable projects by ensuring that technology and cultural projects are supported by scientific evaluations. The Scientific Board will take an active role in the monitoring, conformity approval and audit processes of the projects. The meeting was evaluated as an important step towards strengthening the cooperation between Akon Confederation and Innovation Center and the planned and successful implementation of the projects.
