Assoc. Dr. Sema Yılmaz continues her academic studies at Sivas Cumhuriyet University. His research areas are psychology of religion, spirituality, religious attitudes and individual-psychosocial processes. Throughout his academic career, he has discussed the relationships between religious attitudes, self-perception, loneliness, emotional intelligence and spirituality in a multidimensional way with the studies he conducted on university students and adult individuals. His popular publications include "Reconsidering the Ifk Incident in the Light of Moral Panic Theory and Psychohistory", "The Feeling of Loneliness and Emotional Intelligence Relationship", "Father-Son" He has academic studies titled "The Role of Relationship on Religious Belief and Self-Esteem in Adolescence" and "Examination of the Relationships Between Religious Attitudes, Romanticism and Mate Selection Preferences in University Students". He contributed to the literature on the relationships between spirituality and psychological processes with his study titled "The Mediating Role of the Sense of Inadequacy in the Relationship between Spirituality and Procrastination Behavior in Adults", published in 2024. Assoc. Dr. Sema Yılmaz carries out the content, ethical and academic suitability evaluations of the projects developed in the Science Board of our innovation center in the fields of integration of religious content with technology and adaptation to digital platforms. As a member of the Scientific Board, he takes part in the monitoring, compliance approval and auditing processes of religion-based digital applications and technology-oriented projects.
