Mehmet Nacar works as a technical manager and expert with many years of experience in the fields of defense industry testing and certification systems, maritime technologies, metrology, quality management and accreditation processes. Working on the development of testing, verification and certification processes throughout his career, Mehmet Nacar has undertaken important tasks, especially in the establishment of test infrastructures for the defense industry, execution of accreditation processes and development of the national testing ecosystem. He takes an active role in studies on military platform tests, verification of defense systems, technical suitability evaluations and development of test centers within TRTEST. Mehmet Nacar, who also specializes in maritime and ship technologies, has carried out studies on ship propulsion systems, propeller performance analyses, hydrodynamic experiments, cavitation tests, hydroacoustic measurements and performance evaluation of surface and underwater vehicles within the scope of Istanbul Technical University Cavitation Tunnel (İTÜKAT) management. He took part in the management and development processes of İTÜKAT, which is considered one of the world's leading large-scale cavitation tunnels. Mehmet Nacar, who has nearly ten years of experience in the field of metrology and calibration, has carried out studies on industrial calibration, measurement verification processes, laboratory accreditation, measurement uncertainty calculations and quality systems. In addition, he specializes in the management of quality management systems, laboratory operation and accreditation processes, especially ISO/IEC 17025. Mehmet Nacar, who also carries out active work on the development of university, public and private sector collaborations; He takes part in projects regarding technology transfer, development of R&D infrastructures, establishment of test centers, defense industry clusters and development of international cooperation. In addition to his technical expertise, he has significant management experience in the fields of test center management, laboratory management, defense industry project coordination, technical team management and R&D infrastructure management. Mehmet Nacar; It carries out scientific and technical evaluations of projects carried out in the fields of defense industry testing and certification systems, maritime technologies, quality and accreditation processes, metrology and R&D infrastructure development. He takes an active role in project evaluation, technical conformity review, monitoring of R&D processes and auditing activities of innovation projects in the Akon Innovation Center Scientific Board.
